Designer by day, baseball mom by night.
It all started in the parking lot after practice — a tired kid, a swinging backpack, and one very unlucky car door.
My kid’s bat was basically a weapon of minor destruction, and after one too many “oops” moments (sorry, new car), I decided it was time for a fix.
As a baseball mom (and a designer), I knew there had to be a better way to keep our days chaos-free. When I couldn’t find one, I made it. That’s how ReadyBat was born.
I’m a designer by trade, so finding smart fixes is my love language. When I couldn’t find anything that protected bats and looked good, I made my own.
How I Designed It
I wanted ReadyBat to hit three home runs:
-
Protective – so parents can relax about cars, walls, and heads.
-
Practical – easy on, easy off, and built to last.
-
Playful – fun colors and designs kids actually want to rock.
After testing lots of materials, I designed a (now patented) non-slip material that “sticks” to the handle without being sticky. I also added a zipper so it slides on and off easily and a hook for easy hanging on the dugout or in storage.
Oh, and ReadyBat officially earned its patent on July 25, 2025! 🙌

Why It Matters
ReadyBat was made to make life a little safer, easier, and way more fun for baseball and softball families. Parents love the protection. Kids love the fun designs. It's a win-win.
